It’s funny, I hadn’t realized that I haven’t blogged in 26 days until lo and behold, my last post says “26 Days ago”.
So anyway, I decided to take this whole week off. I guess stress at work has been getting to me, I haven’t been feeling myself lately. I even vowed to post on my blog, but I didn’t get around to that until my last day of vacation. I mostly hung out with friends and some of whom came from Indiana. I did clean and cook a lot more than I thought; Jason sure loved coming home to hot home cooked meals!
I did get to see the Decemberists yesterday, they were really fun. I only knew a handful of songs (I don’t actually own any of their cds either), but it turned out to be a great concert. I even have a little emo crush on the lead singer. He sorta reminds me of the first guy I had a crush on.
I also had time to think and kinda reevaluate my goals. I think my currently long term goal is to open my own restaurant. Short term, I want to give music another shot. I’ve been putting all sorts of music ventures on the back burner, but one of my old roommates brought it back; we’re starting a band. It’s currently being billed as a funk band, although we have yet to be all in the same room to see if it’ll work. Who knows, maybe you’ll see me at your local pub rockin’ the funk…

Yeah, I saw the Decemberists on Saturday. Too bad we didn’t meet up, you could have met the annoying screaming girl behind me or the annoying frat boys by the bar!
