You Rocked My Gaia · Apr 30, 03:07 AM by Bryan
Having visited my parents enough times in California, I thought I would have experienced an earthquake. I guess I have a little fetish for natural disasters. In fact, I used to go tornado hunting back in Indiana (part of tornado alley), but I never saw one. One was only 3 miles from my college apartment, but I was asleep. I was peeved that I lived there for almost 22 years and no tornado sighting.
Anyway, it took all these years to finally feel a quake. It happened Friday morning and it was totally awesome. It was around 8:00am and I thought there was a big gust of wind pushing the house around, but then I felt my whole bed shift. I looked it up on the government geology website thingy and it turns out it was only a 3.5 and about 20 miles away from my parent’s place. All that’s left is a hurricane and a tornado. Possibly a mudslide. I’ve been through a Tsunami, which is the western equivalent of a hurricane, so I guess I could rule out hurricane.
