New Blog · Mar 26, 08:59 AM by Bryan
So here it is, my new blog. It’s kind of a minimalist’s design. I took the article borders from spiffycorners.com. The rest was all me. It’s powered by textpattern, a really cool, simple blog application. I can’t promise how often I’ll blog, but I can promise I will. Anyway, I’ll give you a little tour.
On the left, you’ll see my links. These are the links I check out practically everyday. Daily Readings is exactly that. Websites with great news, reviews and interesting articles fall in this category. Music Links are similar as well, links to music website I frequent. Queer Bloggers are the list of great queer bloggers I read. There is a special list for my fellow Bostonian Queer bloggers, Queer Boston Bloggers. Since I’m also a self advocated technogeek, I’ve got a list of my favorite tech websites. I also am a big comics fan, so there’s a list of my favorite webcomics as well.
As for me, you might be wondering who I am. I’m a 25 year old gay male living in Boston. Suprisingly, I haven’t been able to tell people I’m gay for a long time. People are under the impression that because more people are coming out, it still doesn’t make it easier. It’s been thanks to my wonderful boyfriend that I’m more comfortable telling people. He may be as crazy as me, but he’s my rock.
I work in the Technology field, doing IT support. My true love is music though. I’m a budding musician, with my roots in electronic music and alternative rock. Now that I have a blog, you’ll see me wax about my musical ramblings.
And now, I’ll turn the floor to you, anything you want to ask me?

What to those funny shapes on the left mean? And Textpattern is cool. Its a great tool for a writing focused website. Can’t wait to see all the magnificent links you’ll put up!

I’m a rock! You’re too sweet. There’s no one else I’d rather shank demonic beings with, babe. Love ya!

Idea for an upcoming QBB—we get together for Pride on June 10. Check out the parade and then maybe eat and/or drink together afterwards.

Hi Bryan-
Cool new site! btw- I don’t think the QBB died so much as hibernated. The winter seems to be a busy time for many of us. I look forward to getting together with the group again someday soon!

Hey Bryan! Nice clean new digs!
I agree with Sean. The Winter was busy. I like the Pride idea, btw.

Let’s all get together for Pride – it’s easy, we’ll all be in Boston, and it should be a lot of fun.
Clear your calender on June 10th!
I had written this before the other comment – but the preview thing tricked me up and I lost it – but I just wanted to say I’m liking the new blog and I even found it without having to wait for you to send me the link!
